Refund policy

Comchef is operated by The trustee for COMCHEF TRUST (ABN: 80 910 209 426).

This Returns & Refunds policy applies to purchases made directly on comchef.com.au.
Purchases made on third-party marketplaces follow those platforms’ policies.

Change of Mind Returns

We offer a 10 business day change of mind return period from the date of purchase.
A 35% restocking fee applies to approved change-of-mind returns (especially applicable to large/bulky commercial equipment).
Goods must be unused, in original undamaged packaging with all tags/labels, and accompanied by proof of purchase.

To start a return, contact us at sales@comchef.com.au for an RMA number and instructions.

Consumer Guarantees (Australian Consumer Law)

Nothing in this policy affects your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
If goods are faulty, not of acceptable quality, not fit for purpose, or not as described, you are entitled to a remedy (refund, repair or replacement) with no restocking fee and we will cover reasonable return freight.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or incorrect.

Exceptions

We do not accept returns on sale items, gift cards, perishable goods, custom orders, or opened personal care/hazardous items (unless faulty).

Refunds

Approved refunds (after restocking fee where applicable) will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned item.
