Overview
These Terms & Conditions apply when you access comchef.com.au, place an order with Comchef, or purchase goods or services from us.
By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and any policies referenced on our website, including our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Returns & Refunds policy.
Products and Information
We aim to provide accurate product descriptions, images, specifications, pricing and availability information. Product images, colours, finishes and details may vary depending on your device, supplier information or manufacturer updates.
Product descriptions, specifications, prices and availability may change without notice. We may limit product quantities or discontinue products at any time.
Quotes and Orders
Any quote provided by Comchef is valid for the period stated in the quote. If no period is stated, the quote is valid for 30 days.
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the goods or services in that order. Your order is accepted when Comchef confirms acceptance, processes payment or dispatches the goods.
We may accept, reject, cancel or amend an order where permitted by law, including where a product is unavailable, incorrectly priced, incorrectly described, affected by an error, or unable to be supplied.
Prices and Payment
Prices are shown in Australian dollars unless stated otherwise. Prices, discounts and promotions may change without notice.
Unless expressly stated, prices do not include delivery, handling, installation, customs, duties or other charges.
Unless Comchef agrees otherwise in writing, payment must be made in full before goods are delivered or services are provided.
Title and Risk
Title in goods remains with Comchef until payment has been received in full and cleared funds.
To the extent permitted by law, risk in the goods passes to the customer when the goods are dispatched, collected, or handed to the delivery carrier.
Delivery
Delivery is handled in accordance with our Shipping Policy.
Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may vary depending on stock availability, courier availability, workload, location and other factors outside our control.
Unless otherwise arranged before delivery, deliveries are kerbside. If additional delivery requirements apply, the customer must notify Comchef before delivery and may be responsible for any additional costs.
Customer Responsibilities
The customer is responsible for checking that goods are suitable for their intended use, site requirements, access requirements, installation requirements and compliance needs before purchase.
The customer is responsible for providing accurate order details, delivery details, contact details and any information reasonably required by Comchef to process and deliver the order.
Inspection of Goods
Please inspect goods as soon as they are received. If an item is damaged, incorrect, incomplete or does not match the relevant description, contact Comchef as soon as possible.
Nothing in this section limits any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Returns and Refunds
Returns and refunds are handled in accordance with our Returns & Refunds policy.
Change-of-mind returns are subject to approval and may be subject to a restocking fee as set out in our Returns & Refunds policy.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded, restricted or modified.
If goods fail to meet a consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law, you may be entitled to a remedy such as a repair, replacement or refund.
Cancellations
Orders may not be cancelled, modified or deferred without Comchef’s prior written approval.
If Comchef approves a cancellation, modification or deferral, the customer may be responsible for reasonable costs already incurred by Comchef, including supplier, freight, handling or restocking costs where permitted by law.
Website Use
You must not use our website for unlawful, misleading, fraudulent, harmful or unauthorised purposes.
You must not interfere with the security, operation or availability of our website, attempt to gain unauthorised access, upload malicious code, scrape data without permission, or use automated systems in a way that may harm our website or services.

Shopify
Our online store is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide ecommerce services. Sales and purchases made through our store are made directly with Comchef.
